Jingkun Lin

Pianist | Curator | Founder of JIMUSE

Jingkun Lin graduated from the China Conservatory of Music, majoring in Piano under Associate Professor Shuang Yang, and subsequently completed his Master of Music degree at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) under Stephen Savage. Currently, he is pursuing an Artist Diploma at the Royal Conservatory of Mons (ARTS²), focusing his research on Romantic works. Through long-term performance practice, he explores the three-dimensional connection between playing and listening by meticulously scrutinizing timbre, structure, and the sense of time.

In performance, he maintains a dual identity as curator and performer, launching numerous distinctively themed solo and cross-media concerts. These include Ephemeral Reflections paying homage to Chopin, Only Romanticism focusing on the Romantic tradition, Debussy’s Journey to the East following the clue of an "Eastern Journey," and Enjoy the Moment centering on daily sensations. Simultaneously, he initiated and curated the "Century of Art" series, attempting to place the relationships between music and the city, and the audience and space, within the same narrative structure, making each performance a live observation of sensibility and spiritual state.

在录音与出版方面,林景琨以“作品组群”的方式展开创作,陆续完成并发行《Chopin: 24 Preludes Op. 28》《Debussy: Suite Bergamasque》《Brahms: Intermezzo Op.118 No.2 – To My Love》《Chopin: Nocturne Op.48 No.1》等录音计划。 In recording and publishing, Lin approaches creation via "groups of works," successively completing and releasing recording projects such as Chopin: 24 Preludes Op. 28, Debussy: Suite Bergamasque, Brahms: Intermezzo Op.118 No.2 – To My Love, and Chopin: Nocturne Op.48 No.1. These works use the sonic worlds of different composers and periods as clues to present his understanding of time, memory, and emotional layers. His recordings are now available on platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, serving as an important foundation for his subsequent art projects and multi-sensory practices.

Beyond the stage, he extends his creativity into curation and cross-media practices, initiating and participating in various projects combining music, text, and imagery. From concept setting and program structure to live presentation, he continuously reflects on how art enters the daily experience of contemporary people and how audiences can rediscover their spiritual position within art.

Based on his reflections on sensory experience and the spiritual world, he founded the multi-sensory art brand JIMUSE. With "Auditory · Visual · Creation" as its core direction, JIMUSE integrates piano performance, photography, and text into a holistic structure, constructing perceptible art spaces in different fields and focusing on the inner link between the senses and the spirit. Through multi-layered sensory clues and the accumulation of specific projects, JIMUSE invites people to gradually approach their own spiritual worlds through experience in a continuously unfolding manner.

As a pianist, curator, and founder of JIMUSE, Jingkun Lin views performance, curation, and brand practice as different facets of the same path, building a continuous narrative around sensibility, the spiritual world, and contemporary art practice through the accumulation of time.
